Newsletter Subscription Offer

 

Newsletter-only subscription $15.00 per annum


The question of a social membership has been raised from time to time at our AGM’s. With current insurance requirements, it is a complex issue. We do however have a newsletter-only subscription offer.

This would be suitable for you if you do not compete at our shows, and do not handle horses for anyone else at shows and events run by SA ARABS Inc. If you do any of these things, you will need the full insurance cover which is provided if you are a full member of our Society. Or if you are not a member, we ask you to pay $10 for day membership at our shows

If you know someone who would like to receive our newsletter under this offer, they do not need to complete a membership form – simply send their contact details (Name, address, phone and email please) and payment of $15.00 for 12 months to:

Payment as usual to be made out to SA ARABS Inc. please; or see me at any show.

**Please note - This is NOT a membership and subscribers will not be covered by insurance at any SA ARABS Inc event / show unless the appropriate membership fee has been paid.**

Listed below are membership fees for all persons who are also current members of the AHSA. If you are not an AHSA member, an additional fee of $30.00 is payable with membership fees to cover insurance.

  1. SINGLE MEMBERSHIP

$25.00

For a person aged over 18 on 1st January of membership year; carries one voting right.

 

  1. FAMILY MEMBERSHIP

$30.00

1 or 2 adults plus any children aged under 18 on 1st January, and living at the same address. This carries two adult voting rights.

 

  1. JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP

$15.00

This is for a person aged under 18 on 1st January ( no voting rights).

 

  1. PART YEAR MEMBERSHIP

Our part-year rates are: Single $15; Family $20; Junior $10..

CURRENT FINANCIAL MEMBERS ARE ENTITLED TO:

    • Participation in all Society functions.
    • Right to vote (except Juniors) at General meetings and eligibility for election to the Management Committee and Associated Offices.
    • Receive periodic issues of the Society newsletter and notice of meetings and functions.

    2010 MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS ARE NOW DUE

    MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS 2010

      

    In accordance with a decision made at the 2007 AGM, we are asking everyone who is not also an AHSA member, to pay an extra $30 so that they have the same 24/7 public liability insurance cover that AHSA members have. The membership form gives you the option to delete this amount from your membership amount total if you are an AHSA member, so if that’s you, no increases to fees in 2010.
