The SA Arabs Inc. Horse of the Year High Point will NOT be run this year due to the uncertainty of events being held

Arabian Horse of the Year
South Australian Arabian in halter and ridden. A decision has been
made that to qualify for an award at the South Australian Arabian Horse of the Year,
a horse must compete in at least two shows presented by S.A.A.R.A.B.S.Inc and at
least one other show on the approved list.
**NEW RULE FOR SA ARABIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS**
Only points awarded for the Championship Ridden classes at the SA Arabian Championships will count towards the “Performance Horse” HOTY Trophy. All other classes from the SA Arabian Championships will not count, as not all horses are eligible for all classes previously included.
Qualifying events for Season 2007/08
Season 2007-08 HOY cancelled due to EI and uncertainty of events being held
- Gawler Ag Show - Cancelled due to Equine Influenza
- The Fesitval All Breeds Show - Postponed due to EI
- South Australian Arabian Championship Show 'A' Class - Postponed
- Northern Hack and Halter
- Murray Bridge All Breeds Show
- The Main Event 'A' Class
Dressage
The Jendari Cup will still proceed as all Endurance Events have been held.
Presentation of the Cup will occur at the SAERA Presentations
